We have been making Meaningful Connections between what we see, hear and do at Wairakei School and the writing we do in
class and have created these wonderful Chorus Poems.
SunSmart Wairakei Congratulations Room 2 - 2011 Last year our Absolutely Brilliant Room 2 students won the national SunSmart movie competition with this Movie. They worked hard in their own time to research, write and create a creation myth to explain why we need to be SunSmart! This movie made meaningful connections to our class learning around traditional creation myths and the SunSmart message. Well done Room 2 - Absolutely Brilliant Learners!
